"A trip to Toluca Lake gave me the perfect excuse to hit the newer North Hollywood location, where a larger indoor space than the Glendale original features a colorful street art-style mural of Ozzy (owner Chris Wallace’s chihuahua) and an open kitchen for a fun view of the pizza-making. As a New Haven-style pizza fan, I’m pleased to report Ozzy’s is better than ever: The Zupp came out with a properly blackened (but not overly charred) crust that carries the style’s signature cornmeal crunch and crispy bottom, balanced by a generous layer of thick tomato sauce. Ozzy’s loads on an even but hefty blanket of mozzarella and studs it with crumbled, fennel-laced Italian sausage so nearly every bite hits; even taken to-go, I had to eat a few slices right away, with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and red pepper for the right kick." - Eater Staff
