"Isabel Marant has done a pretty amazing job of building a slavishly devoted fan base: It's partly because her clothes used to be nearly impossible to find unless you bought a ticket to Paris (she still refuses to be sold online, and only opened outposts in NYC and LA in the past few years), and partly because she nails a bohemian-meets-modern aesthetic that always just works.
