‘Pappygate’ Bandit Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

"This distillery was also victimized by the same ring run by Gilbert “Toby” Curtsinger, who exploited his former employment to steal valuable bourbon, including trophy bottles that commanded high street value. Law enforcement recovered part of the contraband (20 cases of Pappy Van Winkle were among the items seized in 2015), and investigators say the liquor was hauled away in a pickup truck hidden beneath a tarp.
