"If you find yourself in the Rockaways near Beach 97, with a group of people who couldn’t agree on what to eat if their lives depended on it, head to the concessions area. There, you’ll find a large outdoor space filled with vendors, picnic tables, and occasionally live music. Then, everybody in your party can get something different, and nobody is allowed to be annoying about it. A few of our favorites include La Cevicheria, a Peruvian stall with cold, citrus-bathed fish that costs less than $20, La Fruteria for iced lattes and avocado toast, and Sand Shark Bar—that’s where you’ll get alcohol." - Willa Moore
