"A trip to the aquarium is pretty much a given on a Mystic itinerary, and after staring at so much marine life, you’re probably gonna be hungry. We always hit up nearby Jealous Monk, a beer hall with over 30 beers on draft and a huge outdoor patio. The open brewery-style space is kid-friendly, and the menu includes a cheese and charcuterie board that comes with a giant soft pretzel instead of crackers. Order this for the table, then load up on things like the juicy housemade Baviarian brat sandwich with tangy sauerkraut and a cubano-style sandwich that’s served on naan with belgian frites." - Tanya Edwards
