Las Pavas - Review - Little Havana - Miami - The Infatuation

"Las Pavas, like a lot of Central American restaurants in Miami, feels like you’re entering someone’s home. The walls are knockdown textured and decorated with ceramic birds and homey Salvadoran art. On a Tuesday afternoon, you’ll find this place filled with regulars having whole snapper and beer buckets as a TV plays reruns of Maury or some other dated reality show. Their concha negra, a clam ceviche with squid ink, is a refreshing appetizer and comes with saltine crackers that balance out the over-limed ceviche. But we come here for the pupusa loca, which could probably break the Guinness World Record for pupusa circumference (and is just delicious).
