"Meyer’s Brewing in Fishtown doesn't serve any of its own food—there’s always a Mexican food truck out front and a pizza truck on Saturdays—but you’d be more than happy to linger for the drinks and garage setup alone. Most days, you’ll find people at the bar ordering flights (there’s a great four for $10 deal) while watching a game, and families at the picnic tables out front soaking up the sun with a golden retriever in tow. We go for any IPAs on the menu (the Courageous Chloe is our favorite), but if ciders or Citywides are more your speed, they have those, too. Stop in for a beer, enjoy a comedy night upstairs, and grab two more beers." - Candis R. McLean
