"While the Kirby Group’s bars—Verde Garden, Pitch 25, Heights Bier Garten, and so on—can sometimes feel a little formulaic, why fix something if it ain’t broke? On a street chock full of clubby bars, Bayou Heights Bier Garten’s sprawling, landscaped patio feels downright provincial. We appreciate the separate beer and cocktail bars, as well as the relaxed coffee shop, especially for the days when working from a laptop can easily bleed into Happy Hour.
