"Being blindfolded at a bar in Brickell is more fun than it sounds at Panamericano. This somewhat hidden bar in Mary Brickell Village takes reservations and makes you ring a doorbell for entry. Inside, it’s almost too dark to read the full-page explanations of each complex cocktail, which are excellent and often come with elaborate tableside speeches. Some include wishes over candles, others the aforementioned blindfold. This place is a heartfelt ode to cocktail snobbery. You’re not coming here for a rum and coke—rather, an incredible taco martini with tequila, sotol, and tomato. Some of the schtick here may sound as gimmicky as the dystopian neighborhood where it resides. But these are seriously impressive drinks." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino
