"Lucky Yu is the bakery equivalent of Paul Rudd playing with puppies: wholesome. Pre-order and collect from a window ‘hatch’ at the side of baker Hai Lin Leung’s home. The menu has nods to Leung’s Cantonese heritage, like sesame soy congee sourdough loaves and bo lo bao (pineapple buns). Everything is great, but the ginger and spring onion focaccia is something special. If you keep missing out on a hatch slot, keep an eye on Bake Street’s Instagram.
