"This no-reservations, eat-and-go Korean spot has already become a Chinatown mainstay with unfussy soups and stews under $20. The bright lights and beige floors have all the ambiance of a hospital cafeteria, but the sterile atmosphere won’t matter when you witness boiling yukgaejang and sundubu come out of the kitchen. The menu’s undisputed standout is the milky white, collagen-rich seolleongtang with brisket, made even tastier if you add a pinch of salt and dash of radish kimchi juice from the free banchan in the broth for a little kick. The friendly server may say the soup’s nutrients will give you Korean glass skin, and whether or not you care to look like a K-pop idol, it’s just another benefit to having a great meal." - Emmy Kasten
