"Chilango is like the University Village local version of Chipotle, except with bigger portions and food that tastes like it didn’t just come out of an industrial walk-in fridge. This small, fast-casual counter-service spot serves solid burritos, bowls, and tacos, plus a handful of sides in a cute wood-clad space filled with primary-colored chairs. Choose your protein—the al pastor is gamey, but the ground steak is pretty good, if a little dry. Whatever you get, it’s the perfect opportunity to use the trio of housemade spicy salsas that get dropped off at your table.
