"Island Tings is a Jamaican hot bar in Miami Gardens that’s making excellent brown stew chicken, sorrel, and spicy beef patties. Everything is served in takeout containers, but their cushy booths and bumpy Jamaican playlist are convincing reasons to stay and eat. They’ll ask if you want gravy poured onto your rice and peas. There is only one right answer—yes. They sell out of beef patties around 3pm, so come before that happens.
