One guy, an empty lot, and unexpectedly great barbecue - Review - Miami - The Infatuation

"Slab Daddy’s location is still a work in progress. But their food isn’t. For now, the barbecue spot is operating out of a food truck in an empty lot in Allapattah. So you’ll be sitting outside on picnic tables next to what will (hopefully) be their future brick and mortar. But you could eat their spare ribs in a swarm of venomous snakes, and feel your worries slip away as easily as the meat does off the bone. This is tangy, vinegary, Carolina-style barbecue. Expect the usual suspects like corn bread, pulled pork sandwiches, and brisket. But you can also have rice and beans or make little tacos with flour tortillas, carnitas, slaw, and baptize it all in barbecue sauce. Food Rundown Peach Glazed Spare Ribs A little sweet, a little tart, but consistently tender. Sounds like our ideal life partner. Tray For Two This includes all of the above, plus carnitas and tortillas.
