"The rich, flavorful broths at this warm, light-filled Japanese spot can go toe-to-toe with San Francisco’s best, as can the top-notch sushi. Soup-wise, we love the black garlic tonkotsu and the just-piquant-enough spicy miso ramen. The beautifully presented sushi rolls and sashimi are perfect anytime, but if you stop by for lunch, get the generously portioned $21 chirashi bowl, which comes with salad and miso soup, or the sushi lunch special–an excellent deal of a roll plus several large pieces of sashimi for just $25." - Gabi Moskowitz
