"The Avalon is a music venue that’s as integral to the Hudson Valley local music scene as André 3000 is to Outkast. It also happens to be part Korean restaurant, part soju bar, and part dance and karaoke spot. There will likely be a band playing “neon-doused ambient house” or “cathartic jangle-damaged pop,” and even if you have no idea what those genres sound like, you should still come here to eat some Korean food in the dark, taxidermy-filled bar before a show.
