"Think of Main St. Provisions as the unofficial clubhouse of the Arts District. It's always packed with a loyal (and local) crowd while flashy new restaurants around it come and go. It's also the best place in the neighborhood to get a steak. The menu changes frequently, but we like to start with dishes like Mexican blue crab cakes—dripping in lobster butter sauce—and short rib dumplings, then go for the 18-ounce ribeye, seasoned lightly, charred to a crisp, and sitting under a pile of crunchy fried shallots. The wide-open brick-and-wood dining room is always alive with warm chatter and toasting cocktail glasses. It’s not quite a party, but you feel like you’re around friends. photo credit: ANGIE ORTALIZA PHOTOGRAPHY photo credit: ANGIE ORTALIZA PHOTOGRAPHY photo credit: ANGIE ORTALIZA PHOTOGRAPHY Pause Unmute RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Rob Kachelriess
