Tacos La Villa - Review - Smyrna - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"It’s easy to overlook Tacos La Villa's green, white, and red sign in the somewhat dated shopping plaza in Smyrna. So just follow the crowds that flock to this Mexican spot for lunch and dinner. Colorful murals on the walls match the colorful food baskets that hold everything from tasty tacos to tamales and tortas. While you listen for your order number, shouted out in Spanish and English, head to the condiment bar and load up on cilantro, onions, salsas (the green crema is the star), and anything else you need to doctor your food. The corn tortilla tacos are a must, particularly with the tender lamb, but there are 12 other protein options (all are less than $3 each). Another must is the shareable birria pizza that’s juicy even without dunking it in the consomé. photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman" - Juli Horsford
