"Peter Shields Inn is one of Cape May’s iconic dining destinations. It’s popular both for its menu of elaborate classics made with local produce and for its location: a stately Georgian revival a stone’s throw from the dunes. Ask for a table on the open-air front porch, under a black and white striped awning, and wait out the sunset with freshly-shucked local oysters and grilled lobsters.
