"This little trailer at the 5000 Burnet food park has ice cream flavors you won't be able to find anywhere else in Austin, from rich and creamy Oreo miso with hazelnut to a tart and refreshing raspberry lychee rose sorbet. The menu changes based on the weather and what’s in season, and the texture of the ice cream is soft, silky, and equipped to help you forget that every summer feels hotter than the last. Follow along on Instagram for new flavor drops, then zip over as quickly as you can to pick up a few scoops or a pint (they tend to sell out). You can also find a few of Merry Monarch’s mainstay flavors at Bottega, an all-day cafe in Mueller. " - raphael brion, nicolai mccrary
