In H&F's current digs, low lighting and vintage album covers are the backdrop for intimate, wood-paneled booths. It all works well for a whispery, low-pressure date or a stealthy work debrief off the clock. And while you’ll find some hints of its old self with items like savory bone marrow and creamy chicken pates on the menu, there are more catch-all staples that appeal to Midtown crowds—think carbonara for the spreadsheet enthusiasts and po’boys for the team who’s definitely “circling back” tomorrow. But one thing hasn’t changed here: the excellent burger is still an Atlanta classic. The beef patties are slightly charred and sit between soft buns with melty cheese and pickles.
