"Coming all the way to the north side of the island and skipping Harvey Cedars Shellfish is like going all the way to Paris and not even taking a peep at the Eiffel Tower. The cozy clapboard BYOB is an institution, and has been slinging some of the island’s best clams, crab claws, and simply steamed lobsters since 1974. But don’t snooze on their more elaborate dishes—come with a group and share the spicy calamari veracruz and creamy crab and artichoke dip. There’s usually a wait, but you can always pop your bottles early and get a little too competitive at the Hook & Ring game in the parking lot." - Alison B. Kessler
