"Some of the best Asian food around Boston is actually in Quincy. One of the newest and best is Rubato, a Hong Kong-style daytime cafe that inspires us to constantly brave I-93 traffic at lunchtime. It’s counter service with a few bar seats, but the food here is worth eating on the curb outside, if it comes to that. In the mornings, the bar along the window is littered with plates of Hong Kong-style french toast filled with duck egg custard, and we haven’t stopped thinking about their crispy fried chicken on a bolo bao since we first tried it. Get that, and a savory bowl of ji cheung fun with beef brisket and curry fishballs for the kind of lunch that will make your next three meals disappointing. photo credit: Joe St. Pierre photo credit: Joe St. Pierre photo credit: Joe St. Pierre Pause Unmute" - Tanya Edwards
