"This low-key venue hosts mostly local artists in a small space where you can practically strum the guitar by stretching out (please don’t). But a big appeal is the front bar called Betty’s Room, a calm, vintage-y dive where you can grab a few beers or shots before heading into the back for a show. Or, just hang there the whole time if your eardrums need a rest. Just note that there's no food, so hit a nearby Ballard restaurant beforehand. You can also use Sunset as part of a Ballard Avenue live music crawl, with Tractor Tavern and Conor Byrne Pub nearby." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo
