"Naschmarkt feels like an Alpine lodge thanks to a dimly lit dining room, warm wood, and exposed brick. It's exactly where you want to be when it’s cold out. Settle in and get the pretzel that comes with an intensely malty beer-cheese sauce you’ll happily lick clean when pretzel reserves have been depleted. Follow it up with the pork wiener schnitzel that’s served with a tangy lingonberry sauce that improves everything it touches. The wine list leans Austrian and German—our pick is a glass of dry grüner veltliner, which pairs well with anything rich, like the Hungarian beef goulash over buttery herbed spätzle (another favorite of ours).
