Adamá - Review - Xochimilco - Oaxaca - The Infatuation

"Adamá is situated in a less crowded area of the city, tucked away in Aldama Alley behind a wall covered with vibrant bougainvillea. Inside, Israeli-born chef Hagar Aviram serves classic Middle Eastern dishes to locals and travelers looking for a change of pace from all that corn-based and masa-centric Oaxacan food (heads up: the cash-only restaurant is open Sundays only). The menu, vegetarian and vegan friendly, features a variety of family-style dishes, including hummus, fatoush, creamy baba ganoush, an abundant serving of labneh, and textbook-perfect falafel. Their tabbouleh and refreshing, herb-packed salad made with cucumber, tomato, chopped onions, lime, and olive oil, are great for hotter days." - Mariana Camacho
