"This is the perfect place to slowly ease the grip that Hillstone has over the man who raised you. A lot of the dishes here are familiar American classics. The service makes you feel taken care of, and the restaurant is just nice enough for a mild celebration (but not so nice that dad will pace back and forth for hours before dinner, wondering what shirt he should wear). The harder decision for him will be what to order. The double cheeseburger (urge him to add bacon) is something he will bring up to friends for the next six months.
