"The counter-service seafood spot in Savaneta, on the Southeastern side of the island, is everything you could want in a fish shack. There are dockside picnic tables with water views that would put even the priciest restaurants to shame, with fishing boats pulling up to sell their catch. And, true to the theme, the menu features whatever the fishermen have hauled into the adjacent pier that day—think whole-fried snapper, wahoo filets, and fried head-on shrimp—plus local Balashi beer, best enjoyed by the bucket.
