"This is a nicer neighborhood restaurant with a mix of raw bar options, small plates, and large-portioned entrees. The menu doesn’t really fit into one category or theme, but there’s a lot of Japanese influence, with things like caesar salad that comes with yuzu dressing, Japanese fried chicken, and a seared salmon bowl with brown rice, ginger, and seaweed flakes on top. One way we do know how to categorize the food is by telling you that it’s good, and we’d especially recommend trying a few of the smaller dishes and some oysters. The space is long and attractive, like they found all the best items in a vintage thrift store and really made it work. It’s a great option for a group dinner or a date in Stuyvesant Heights." - Hannah Albertine
