"Soul & Fish is the go-to beachside seafood restaurant in Sorrento. They’re right on the sandy shores of Marina Grande, Sorrento’s old fishing village, and have been serving both traditional and creative seafood plates for over 50 years. It’s the best spot in town to gobble up some genovese di tonno, or pasta with tuna and slow-cooked onions, which they enrich with katsuobushi and local provolone del Monaco cheese to add creaminess. During the day, this spot is full of people in sarongs tossed over a bikini. But after the beach closes at 6pm, things turn slightly more formal, thanks to the dressed-up crowd who are here for sunset aperitivo or dinner." - federica bocco
