"E5 Bakehouse is less of a bakery and more of a one-stop bread institution housed within a couple of arches by London Fields station. Locals, freelancers, and those partial to flaky pastry trot through the doors to pick up a bulbous loaf of still-warm sourdough and leave with a spicy ginger cookie, a Japanese coffee brewing cup, and a slab of French cheese. Part shop, part bakery, part organic cafe—it’s one of those pick-your-own adventure places.
