"Controluce is a solid lunch option in Trastevere, especially if you can secure a seat on their small, shaded green patio, tucked along one of Rome’s sunniest streets. Kick things off with the silky sweet caponata and some fried ziti sticks—these paper-thin zucchini rounds come crispy and oily, serving as vessels for a zucchini purée topped with shreds of special provolone.
