"It’s rare to find cheeses made in Paris, given the general lack of cows, sheep, or goats in the city. Laiterie de Paris is changing that. This cheese shop is whipping up chèvres on-site with milk trucked in from the countryside. Depending on the season, the housemade cheeses may be topped with za’atar, honey, and hazelnuts or stuffed with candied clementine. Their other house staples include discounted, slightly imperfect Comté or Camembert made at their farm in Normandy, which you can buy plain or, for a bit more oomph, washed in local apple cider." - Emily Monaco
