"The rate of overpriced tourist traps opening and closing in Wynwood is higher than the toilet paper turnover at Miami International Airport. So when an Italian restaurant with cartoon farfalle on the placemats and a menu full of $30 pastas comes to the neighborhood, we don’t have the highest hopes. But Otto And Pepe is a welcome surprise. They make all of their pasta from scratch, from the stuffed cannelloni to some very good orecchiette alla norma with thumb-sized dough scoops that catch thick tomato sauce and fried eggplant. Order that dish at the bar, or lounge on the patio furniture in the courtyard and split some charcuterie and wine off the outdoor menu. (No pasta outside.)
