"Duy Sandwiches, an all-vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant and grocery in Chinatown, has just about every meat substitute and tofu concoction you can think of. There are shelves and refrigerators lining the walls filled with mock meat, vegetables, and any assortment of condiments you can think of–except fish sauce. Head to the counter and order a couple of bánh mìs with vegetarian ham or lemongrass tofu, and you’ll be treated to warm, dense white bread, light and sweet mayo, and a mountain of herbs and cucumber.
