"After your first visit to the Dekalb Farmers Market in Decatur, all other grocery stores will seem incredibly dull. This massive market is always packed, so be prepared to pivot like Pac-Man to get your hands on those snap peas you need. But there is also an opportunity to snag hard-to-find-in-Atlanta produce like guinep and rambutan. So even if you have a strict grocery list, build in time to peruse the spice shelves, meat cases with everything from chicken to rabbit, and seafood corner with live fish, lobster, and crab swimming around in giant tanks. But our favorite area is the prepared food section, where we stock up on tubs of curry almond chicken salad and quinoa tabbouleh. Just remember, credit cards are a no-go here, so bring your debit or cold, hard cash for your haul." - Juli Horsford
