"At the original in Jackson Heights, you can enjoy an omakase with bottomless sake and listen to employees shout “Enjoy your f*cking food” while loud music plays in the background. It’s a fun place, and the location in is pretty much the same. The small, dark space has a disco ball, a few neon signs, and just a handful of seats at a chef’s counter, and there are four hour-long seatings per night. The Williamsburg omakase has a few more courses than the one in Jackson Heights—and, at $129, it’s also $40 more. With its standard assortment of madai, scallop, and akami, the meal isn’t as impressive as similarly priced options around town, but if you’re looking to party with raw fish, Sushi On Me is still your best bet. As far as we know, this is the only place where you can listen to Yung Gravy while a chef hand-feeds you a piece of anago." - Bryan Kim
