"This gluten-free restaurant makes dishes we want to grow old with. The buffalo-fried lion’s mane and king oyster mushrooms over blue cheese sauce, are the sort of bar food you’d order twice in one sitting. Except it’s served in a precisely lit fine dining restaurant that also makes great sarsaparilla Old Fashioneds. Bring a celiac you have a crush on, but know the entrees go heavy on meats, from a curiously sweet BBQ lamb meatloaf to chicken with a tomato peach honey sauce. The vegan-friendly dark chocolate panna cotta is tangy and bitter with a dollop of coconut whipped cream on top. If you think you can’t stomach going gluten-free, Conifer will at least make you consider it." - Ryan Bernsten
