"The oldest restaurant in Long Beach, Domenico’s and its neon sign were Belmont Shore landmarks long before 2nd Street became known for sports bars frequented by dudes in wrap-around sunglasses. The entire dining room here is covered with pergolas and string lights, which lulls you into feeling like you're dining al fresco. The signature salad with creamy garlic dressing and ground pepperoni pizza are serviceable, but the best dish is the rigatoni and sausage cooked in an absurdly rich tomato cream sauce. Order a giant plate of that plus their housemade tiramisu, and you’ve got the makings of a cozy dinner in one of the curtained booths." - Garrett Snyder
