"Confections opened in 2020, quickly gained popularity, and now has three locations in north Metro Atlanta. Their Duluth cafe is in a strip mall next to Sambong Naengmyun, which is equally busy, so come early for easier parking and before bakery items sell out. While a cupcake might sound underwhelming in a lineup of more interesting pastries, get one if it’s in stock. Think sponge cake filled with cream cheese filling and topped with even more cream cheese and Biscoff cookie crumbs—it’s our favorite item here. And if you’re in the mood for something savory, we recommend their onion king brioche stuffed with ham, egg salad, and arugula. And we love that the interior of the cafe reminds us of an outdoor patio with plants and many tables donning umbrellas. " - Candy Hom
