"Warabimochi Kamakura is a kiosk from Japan in the middle of a food court in the Santa Anita mall that specializes in waramochi that are so soft they barely hold their shape. The mochi come dusted in either kinako or matcha powder, and our preferred order is the large 12-piece box that packs in both flavors. Just be sure to handle them with care, since these are essentially slippery, dessert water balloons. The matcha drinks also come with bonus mini mochi floating in them, which yield a boba-adjacent experience with less chew." - Cathy Park
