"With its white tiled walls, foaming pints of beer, and the feel of London’s St. John, St. Bart has enough British charm to make any expat tear up (from nostalgia, but also possibly from the scotch eggs). The specials chalkboard is a mix of simple yet exceptionally done dishes like bone marrow on toast, plus some more surprising plates of grub like glazed bonito collar, with influences coming from all corners of the world. Oysters, langoustines, and the brick chicken are permanent fixtures, though, and the Sunday roast has earned local legend status. Set in Kreuzberg’s cobbled Graefekiez area, this candlelit pub entices homesick Brits, locals, and anglophiles inside like a boozy siren song, with its elevated comfort food and impressive wine list.
