"Unlike the massive warehouse-sized taprooms in the nearby Arts District, Downtown’s Native Son is a taproom with the personality of a neighborhood bar. The game is on behind the counter, they play upbeat house music on the speakers, and you should expect to meet three dudes in flannels named Chris. Overall, it’s a great option in DTLA for serious craft beer drinkers. There’s a short menu of ten taps featuring Mexican lagers, IPAs, and an Italian-style pilsner called Pasta Water (which tastes a lot better than it sounds).
