"Lucky Coffee started out selling foam-topped iced lattes out of a makeshift ventanita from the owners’ house (it’s run by sisters). As with seemingly every buzzy coffee business in this city, they’re now operating out of a cute little trailer (it’s bright green, you can’t miss it). The $7-ish matcha lattes and iced coffees with elaborate housemade syrups are delicious. A maple cinnamon latte with banana cream top might sound like liquid dessert, but the sweetness is subtle and lets the true star of the latte—the coffee—really shine. Same goes for their iced matcha with syrups that enhance the matcha's flavor rather than mask it. The trailer also has a congri empanada that’s as revolutionary to the empanada world as satellite technology has been to global communication. That’s an exaggeration, but please order it. The lines might seem long and arduous, especially on a hot day, but things move fast and drinks come out within minutes. At the moment, the slime green trailer is focused on areas like Kendall and South Miami, but follow them on Instagram to stay updated on their whereabouts. photo credit: Mariana Trabanino photo credit: Mariana Trabanino video credit: Mariana Trabanino photo credit: Mariana Trabanino Pause Unmute" - Mariana Trabanino
