"You can generally forgive beer gardens for having subpar food - you’re there to get drunk off an obscure German pilsner and soak up some of that alcohol with some carbs. But when a beer garden with solid food comes around, we realize what we were missing. Wirtshaus is one of those spots - it’s somewhat sleepy, but the modern German food is way better than you’d expect. Another nice surprise: they do a bottomless brunch." - Amy Clark
