Half & Half Doughnut Co. Review - Capitol Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation
"This Capitol Hill donut shop has lots of fun flavors, like a chai-spiced old fashioned and brioche with bananas foster-flavored cream, but they truly excel at the fritter. And this isn't just any regular apple fritter—their caramelized pineapple version is roughly the size of Sasquatch’s footprint and has chunks of glazed pineapple mixed into every bite. It's tangy, sweet, extra sticky, and perfect when dunked into a hot cup of black coffee. Alongside their lineup of donuts, Half & Half also serves a breakfast sandwich—but we're sad to report that it's not that great, thanks to a bland egg patty and bacon that's tougher than beef jerky. And while we love the sun-dried tomato pesto, the huge brioche bun smothers every other ingredient like a winter jacket two sizes too big. Stick to the fritter. " - Kayla Sager-Riley
