"Precipice has a main roastery in Ellsworth, but they have a summer residency in Otter Creek if you want to start your day with great coffee and pastries away from the crowds in Bar Harbor. The small-batch baked goods are nothing short of perfect. We often find ourselves daydreaming about their crumbly biscuits served with a thick slab of radish and chive butter, and the hand pies are like a grown-up version of a Pop-Tart.
