"Khanom jeen is a dish that’s synonymous with Phuket. Everybody eats these fresh rice noodles topped with different curries, sauces, and herbs for breakfast. This spot near Saphan Park is one of the few places where you can eat khanom jeen for lunch or early dinner. The curries and sauces they have change often, but the ones with peanut and beef are particularly good—the peanut sauce is super savory, and a nice balance to the chili oil, anchovies, and thai basil you should top it with. The noodles themselves are particularly bouncy, and an individual serving only costs around $2. Come here for a quick meal and then go explore the nearby night market across the road. photo credit: Carlo Mantuano" - Carlo Mantuano
