The current owners took over more than 20 years ago, expanded the hard ice cream selection, and added things like burgers, lobster rolls, and fried clam strips to the menu. The full King Kone experience includes navigating the hectic parking lot, waiting in line to order, and remembering to bring cash (or getting bailed out by Venmo).
