At Dock & Drink, the food is bad, but the views are worth a trip - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"When the temperature starts climbing, Dock & Drink is where you want to be. This summer-only outdoor hotel restaurant sits so close to the water behind the Hyatt in Renton that you’re practically dangling your toes in the lake. While most waterfront spots in Seattle tend to be crowded or require you to hand over a big chunk of your savings for a decent view, it’s usually easy to snag a table on a weekday (even during a fintech conference). And the unobstructed view of boats, jet-skiers, and generally happy-looking people makes for hours of entertainment. The upbeat atmosphere definitely overshadows the very forgettable hotel food, but the smashburger satisfies if you need something to eat. You’re really here for a solid drink or two and to stare at those waterfront mansions you’ve definitely saved on Zillow. Food Rundown UV Index Refreshing watermelon purée and enough Tito’s to sanitize a counter make this very summery drink ideal on a hot day. And lots of nugget ice means it stays frosty cold. Classic Burger We were fully prepared for a hotel smashburger to disappoint us, but this one is actually solid.
